Sunil Bhatnagar is the founder of Team Inspire, an organization dedicated to helping Canadians build greater financial awareness and confidence. In 2005, at the age of 47, Sunil arrived in Canada with his wife, two children, and the challenge of starting life all over again. While many at that stage begin thinking about retirement, Sunil was rebuilding from the ground up—taking on jobs in a call centre and later in sales. But his ambition pushed him beyond simply making a living. His experiences inspired him to enter the financial industry with a bigger purpose: to help families gain the financial knowledge and guidance he wished he had when starting his own journey in Canada.
No Family Left Behind
— Sunil Bhatnagar
At 47, would you have the courage to leave everything familiar behind and start from zero? In this episode of Trust the Process, Sunil Bhatnagar shares how he moved to Canada with his wife and two children and rebuilt his life from the ground up. From working entry-level jobs to entering the financial industry and eventually founding Team Inspire, his journey proves that starting late doesn’t mean you’re behind. We talk about money, ambition, starting over, and the mindset it takes to keep moving forward when the easier choice is to settle. Maybe 40 really is the new 20—and your best chapter hasn’t even started yet.
